Society has been on a high horse for far too long telling us women who we should be, how we should look, what we should do with our lives, how to dress, and quite frankly....I'm over it.

Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Megan, owner and photographer of Megan D Photography LLC and I am BEYOND thrilled to unveil Breakthrough Boudoir, a personalized experience for everyone of EVERY size, shape, and age to break out of their shell and realize that being YOU is and will always be good enough.

Boudoir is more than just taking photographs in lingerie. To me, It means that you've taken the leap to learning your truth, releasing the weight of the ridiculous standards the world has infringed on you. You're willing to push self-doubt to the side and give yourself an experience that makes you feel confident in WHO you are, AS you are. And I'm PROUD of you for that. You don't need to be a model. You don't need to have experience. You just need to be yourself.

- Why Boudoir -
My journey as a photographer has brought me so much joy for so many years. Between portraits, weddings, families, children, I have snapped thousands, if not millions, of photos.
When it comes down to it, I find that boudoir is the one true genre that can destroy the negative views, the self-doubt, the anxieties, and lack of self-worth that we have about ourselves. Having people trust me enough to bring out the confidence that's been buried, give them the power to love themselves, seeing the shift in the feeling of being unapologetic about their bodies....that is something I don't believe will never feel tired of.

I feel as if boudoir is what I was born to do. My calling if you will. Boudoir has become my passion and I have been able to help so many people change how they see themselves. I cannot image a better path for not only myself in my career, but anyone who is ready to rediscover themselves as the true powerful beings they are.
